Health MediCo Clinics
Whole-person care. A conversation that starts with you.
At Taringa Central, Brisbane, our focus is on understanding your health in context — your concerns, your circumstances and what matters to you.

One connected approach.
General practice and alternative natural therapies form the two care pathways at Health MediCo Clinics. A consultation is an opportunity to discuss your needs, review your health history and consider appropriate next steps.
Integrative care does not replace careful medical assessment. Treatment suitability, referrals and follow-up are discussed with your clinician, taking your existing medicines and care team into account.

A practice built around the whole person
Health MediCo Clinics was founded on a simple observation: people rarely experience their health in isolated pieces. A stubborn symptom, a stressful season at work, a poor night's sleep and a long-standing condition are often part of the same picture — and care works better when a doctor has the time to see all of it.
From our clinic at Taringa Central in Brisbane, we set out to combine the rigour of traditional general practice with a genuine openness to integrative and natural therapies, so patients can discuss every option in one place, with one team that knows them.
Today, that means unhurried consultations, careful assessment before any treatment, and honest conversations about what is likely to help, what may not, and what the evidence says. Where another provider is better placed to help — a specialist, an allied health professional or a hospital team — we say so and help you get there.
Through telehealth, the same approach is available to patients across Australia where a remote consultation is clinically appropriate.
A note on our history: the practice's founding details — including when it was established and the clinicians who started it — are being confirmed with the team and will be published here soon. Nothing on this page should be read as a confirmed historical record until then.
Our philosophy
How we think about your care
The whole person, not the symptom
Your symptoms matter, but so does the context around them — your history, your circumstances, your medicines and what you hope to get back to. We take the time to understand that wider picture before recommending anything.
Integrative, never uncritical
We are genuinely open to alternative and natural therapies, and we discuss them without dismissal or judgement. But openness is not the same as uncritical acceptance: every option is weighed for evidence, benefit, risk and interaction with your existing treatment.
Decisions made together
Good care is a conversation, not an instruction. We explain your options in plain language — including the option of doing nothing — and support you to make the decision that fits your values, your life and your priorities.
Continuity you can rely on
Health is a long game. We aim to be the team that knows you over years, not visits — keeping your records coherent, coordinating with your specialists and following up so nothing falls through the gaps.
Care that listens
Space to discuss your concerns and take part in decisions about your health.
Your wider health picture
A medical assessment that considers your symptoms, history and ongoing care.

Our team
The people behind your care
Our team brings together general practitioners, nurses and administrative staff who share the same approach: listen first, assess carefully, and treat every patient as a person rather than a problem list. Our GPs hold specialist general practice qualifications, and our nursing team supports chronic disease care, immunisations, health assessments and care planning.
Behind the scenes, our reception and administrative staff keep appointments, referrals, recalls and results flowing so your clinical team can focus on you.
A note on our team profiles: individual doctor biographies, qualifications and special interests are being confirmed with the practice. The profiles on our doctors page are clearly marked placeholders until the practice supplies its confirmed details.
